I can't activate my DSL internet

Hi there,

 

Writing here because I am struggling to contact Vodafone by phone in English.

 

(Just a kind tip that when the answering machine gives me the option to say Operator and talk with someone in English I never get through with someone who speaks English)

 

So now the problem:

I got an DSL internet contract with vodafone and had my internet activated remotely by Vodafone/DSL Wednesday Sep 7th. Since then I followed the instruction to try to activate my internet but I get the message "your router is being activated, don't turn off your browser" for anywhere in between 30 min to 2 hours until it finally tells me my MIC is invalid. Friday the 9th I was able to talk with someone in English and a new MIC was sent to me, after resetting the router and trying with the new MIC the problem persists. Please note that I have tried to use the wi-fi and a direct cable connection to my computer as well as the browser on my phone and the GetConnected app, and nothing seems to work. All the lights in the router (except phone) are permanently green so the router seems to be ok.

 

I would love to get some assistance here or at least receive a call from Vodafone by someone who speaks English because my german is too basic to deal with these problems and having to call 7 times before getting someone who speaks English is not ideal.

Hi Jens,

That didn't work either, because my problem needs to be fixed by phone. I went to a store and they couldn't help either. At this point it just ridiculous. My German speaking friends are out of town so i guess I'm stuck with this problem until they return!
