I have read that the DSL contract can be broken if we move abroad (out of Germany) in 3 months.
My question is whether we still have to pay for all the months which are on our contract, e.g.
if my contract is until 2020, and if you break it because of the move in 2019, do I still have to pay for all the months until 2020?
Best,
Lara

If it is a landline contract (DSL or cable), the contract can be ended prematurely according to the telecommunications law if the contract cannot be fulfilled at the new residency location. This applies to both moving inside Germany and moving abroad.
If the contract is terminated in this way, you have to pay for additional 3 months after moving -or- after notifying Vodafone (the later of both dates counts). You do not have to do any more payments after those 3 months have passed [except you do not return any rental devices in time].

Thank you for your answer.
It is the DSL Internet.
Could you please tell me how to check whether the contract can be extended to the Adress/Country of my move?
Thank you!
