Contract Termination at the end of minimum term

Hello Vodafone Community,

 

I am a vodafone gigacubemax customer since April 2019 and now wish to cancel my contract after 2 years. I have been told that i have to notify the customer service agent before 3 months for termination of contract. So i guess my three months starts at the end of december. 

I want to know where should i send the termination request letter ? (The address)

 

Does it have to be in german or an english would be fine ? (I don't speak german very well)


Where to send the gigacube device? Do i have to drop off at the store where i bought at or do i have to send at some other address ?

 

Please reply as soon as possible.

Hi,

normally you should be able to cancel your contract via the online portal. Also, as far as I know the GigaCube is not a rent model. So if you cancel your contract on the end of the 2 years contract you can keep the GigaCube and do what you want with them.

 

For example it is stated here in the community. May you have to use Google Translate, cause it is in German. 😉

I already cancelled on online portal but i've seen the cases here like customers have to notify them via mail, phone or email. 

After seeing the stories of other customers and the hassle way they have been gone through, I don't trust them, So what i'm gonna do is to follow all three channels to notify them that i decided to terminate the contract and followed the rules. Lol xD

 

and yes you are right the device i've got was not rental but i thought may be they want it back.

Hi, 

yeah normally you should receive a mail or SMS as far as I know. May check which Number and/or Mail adress is shown in the Portal.

 

Worst case, just call in to the Hotline and ask if the Cancellation was successfull. They should also be able to speak English with you to give you the needed information.

Hi ahsy,

 

to give you a verified information whether your cancellation is entered in the system, you can send me a private message with your customer or phone number of the GigaCube and the customer password (alternative name, address and birth date).
