Dear Vodafone Support Team,
I recently signed up with a sim card contract as self-employed.
I work from home and I get absolutely bad reception from my flat. Most of the time it's at 0 lines, sometimes at 1. This happens both with 4G and 3G. Internet speed is less than 17 Mbps on 4G network.
The reason I got this card is because I want to keep it as backup in case my Vodafone Kabel stops working.
Is there anything that can be done here? My phone works fine. With an O2 sim card I get good reception.
See the attached picture for the download/upload speed.
Let me know what can be done.

Hello Arjon,
please tell us the address, i.e. postcode and street without house number, so that we can take a look at the network supply.
Best regards

Hello Arjon,
thank you for the addresse. ican't see a problem there.
you can only send us private messages via one of the following channels. Preferably via Facebook or Twitter. Then we can take a look at it with your data.

I didn't say that there is an incident or a problem.
I said that the reception is really bad. Does Vodafone do any thing when users live in parts where there is not good coverage?

Hello @Arjon
the o2 radio station will be closer to your home than ours.
If you then live on the ground floor, the reception is often weaker.
Since the stations are properly connected to the network, there will be no further adjustment of the radio sectors, I am sorry.
In principle, you can only set up the mobile phone near the window and connect it to your work PC etc. via hotspot.
If you have an Android cell phone, you can see the reception level here:
Settings > scroll down > About phone > Status > SIM card status > Network or signal strength
Here you will find the RSRP value. It ranges between about -70 (very good) and -120dB (no reception). Please try to set up the mobile phone where you push the reception level in the direction of two digits or -99dB. With your zero bar LTE reception, the level should be between -120 to -125 dB, which is far too little.
On the iPhone, type in the code *3001#12345#* and press the phone button. By this you go straight into the field test mode. Go to LTE RSRPRSRQSINR and find the RSRP value there.
Wherever you find the best value, that's where you set up the iPhone in an emergency so that you can work.
Good luck to you. Don´t hesitate to answer us whenever you need our assistance. This case is unfortunately beyond our possibilities.
Kind regards, Jioti
