Why is it so hard to get a real person on the customer service hotline?

Vodafone tech came to my building today to set up someone elses internet and disrupted mine for 2 hours. it still fades in and out.  i'm working home office. you can't screww one customer while you set up another.

I am sorry that the technician disturbed you in your work. There is only one connection going into the house and if the technician makes changes to it, it affects all subscribers. Sorry for the inconvenience. Does the connection continue to fail?
