Hi,
Every few hours the internet connection suddenly starts failing (50%-100% packetloss).
Only solution (temporal) is to restart the Modem.
This behaviour is happening since a few days now, periods getting shorter.
* Modem: leased VodafoneStation TG3442DE (3y old)
* Modem is in BridgeMode, yet same problem occurs when switching to Router mode.
* Internet & Phone 1000 Cable plan
* Region: Berlin
* Local LAN traffic is Ok. No packetloss, no bottlenecks.
Is it the modem starting to fail? or is this normal?
Following is an example of the frequency:

Unfortunately this didn't work either. Connection keeps droping after a few hours online.
I'll be switching to a non-cable, non-Vodafone provider shortly.

there are some minor errors on your line, but they occur at your neighbour's modem as well. It seems he doesn't need to reboot his modem. So I assume that your modem might be defective. Do we want to try and replace it?

Yes please, I already tried changing the cable with no success.

ok, it's a pity that the exchange didn't work 😞 We can gladly send a technician to check the system on site. You don't have to quit right away 😞

Sure, you should send a technician before the switch to Telekom takes place, that's around next month.
You must understand that, even If i don't consider the holiday periods, I only had 1 month at most of a good connection this year. The rest has been with disconnections or a packet loss > 1%. No matter the speed, the connection is completely unreliable.
