I would like to go straight to my problem. Since few weeks I have been having a bit of a problem with unstable connections. I am running a speed connection test via "cmd" on my computer and most of the time, I am really happy about the connection. Last weeks unfortunately, that changed a bit. Before I didn't really have a problem with ping spikes but with my current usage, I have to have a stable connection all the time. Spikes can happen from 9ms to 140ms.
I tried to repair this issue by myself - already done:
- turn the router off and on
- restart the router
- check all cables
- change lan cable which is connected to my pc
- restart via settings on http://192.168.0.1/
- check connection on different pc
- this may happen regardless of whether someone else uses the internet
