My Internet speed/quality is very bad (10-100Mbs from 200 by the contract)

Duering last month-two I have really big problems with Vodafone internet.

Some times I have NO Internet at all. Sometimes the speed is dropping up to 20Mbps. 

My contract is for 200Mbps but always, when I make test by https://speedtest.vodafone.de/ , I have 20-100 Mbps for Server - Modem connection.

Several times I tried to write messages to service - no reaction, called by phone - nobody in Vodafone can speak English!!! I am really diappointed!

Just now I had a call with my manager, and instantly the Internet connection was broken. All my flat lost the Internet connection! What is it happening with Vodafone!?!?!??!?

Hello neronovs,

 

you didn't reply for almost six months. There was no problem with the line or modem on Wednesday, was the ethernet connection affected as well?

I have received a Mail that the speed of my Internet is increased to 250/25. I checked the speed and I see that the connection between the router and Vodafon server is 2,5 times less, than must be. Take a look at the screenshot. So, during whole my Contract with Vodafone I only regret and suffer. Please, fix the issue.

Hey neronovs,

 

your ethernet connection to cablerouter is only 100mbps and not 1000mbps. Can you check your connection.

What you mean "check your connection"?

I have connection, but it is bad quality connection. I believe, Vodafone has to check the connection, as I pay for the service, but the service I have is not that should be. 

Please, check the issue on your side and maybe send a master that can check the connection at the house and my flat.

Hello neronovs,

 

please check the LAN cable and if the connected device is also GigaBit capable. Because according to the system it is not. Surely we can send you a technician, but he will tell you exactly the same and charge 99.50 €. I think it is also in your sense, if we avoid the costs.

I have checked the cable, it is OK, I don't see that it is broken. 

How can I check if the router is GigaBit capable? On it, it's no the info about it.

the router supports Gigabit. You have to check your connected device.

Yes, I have checked my devices, they support the speed as well. 

And please, could you describe why the speed between the router and the Vodafon server is only 97Mbit/s (look at the screenshot, attached ‎20.06.2021 at 20:08)?

!!! This issue I have very often during all my 3 years of using Vodafon Internet by my current contract.

The speed is ONLY guaranteed via LAN cabling. Your picture above shows a WiFi measurement that is not very meaningful. Connect your PC with a gigabit network card to the cable router using a LAN cable and then test it again.
