For maybe a week or so, all google / bing / whatever search results seem to think that we are based in Japan.
The splash screen for google, google maps, bing maps, youtube for a quick list of errors ALL think we are in Japan.
I could believe this is a PC or phone issue if it was on a single computer or phone, but its is not because EVERY DEVICE in the house has the same problem. Something on YOUR end (the host) is causing a re-direct of the locations. There are no VPN's or other data re-routing tech going on to cause such issues.
Did you buy some cheap knock off IP addresses?
Please can you reset our IP Address home to Germany. This is happening across windows 10, android & Apple, the unifying piece of the puzzle is you Vodafone, that they all connect through.
Gelöst! Gehe zu Lösung.

So it has "fixed" itself, with zero adjustment from my end.
There were some mysterious Voadfone guys at the cabinet down the road adjusting something (related??? who knows) .
But now the issue is resolved. Please close the issue.

These are usually settings in your device and not on IP detection base. And have a look if there are some kind of plugins / VPNs installed...

Hi, this is definately not a device issue.
As a very simple test case, you have your mobile phone.
- Disable the wifi so you are only using the phone carrier (not vodafone). Correctly reports the location as inside Germany.
- Enable wifi, so its connected to the home Vodafone network.... instantly says im in Japan via IP verification.
1 device tested with 2 separate networks & only 1 is correct & its not vodafone.
As stated previously, it happens on ALL devices connected to the vodaphone network. If it was happening on just 1 device I could accept your answer, but when its everything, the fault lies external to the devices.
Thanks for trying though!

sorry for the wait. Unfortunately, we currently need a little longer to respond.
I am all the more pleased that your request has been resolved in the meantime.
Kind regards
