Hi folks, I’m an English speaker and learning German so bear with me.
I can’t get my compatible, FRITZ!Box 6670 modem to connect and the Vodafone technical support number gives me a message in German and disconnects.
I’ve got active Vodafone service and my activation code already added to my account. Followed instructions directly and am still left with a blinking modem (solid WLAN, blinking Power light meaning the configuration didn’t go thru.)
Modem and network are recognized by my devices, just no active connection. I’m not able to move forward on any FRITZ!box setup without this step. I went back to Vodafone and the sales rep mentioned that I need to input the IP address found on the back of the modem into some system to get a modem activation code but this makes entirely no sense and is not the instruction of Vodafone.
If there are any tech savvy people who are experienced with these modems & process and can advise, I would so appreciate it. Alternatively if there are any recommendations on Vodafone support I would appreciate that too. (The retail store is directing me to the technical support line.)
