Changing the route to a host

Hey folks,

Recently Vodafone network became less a problem than the traffic exchange hosts on the route.

Here is the PingPlotter dump of the traffic routes and pings: https://share.pingplotter.com/2V7ovpesuvn

There you can see that the pe06.Moscow.gldn.net host become gray for the period of time and underlying host of it switched from 79.104.235.82 (was tracked before) to the new one 79.104.235.86.

That happens at least couple of times per day. During that event one of their hosts become unavailable and (probably) goes down or being reloaded. And that is the usual source of troubles on the way to the target destination...

The network *.gldn.net is misbehaving too often and creates a lot of problems for me. I will post quite some links to dumps down below that demonstrates the awful experience of such a high level traffic exchange provider...

Could you please ban those network for me that my route would not go through that Golden Telecom and would be routed through more reliable networks?

Links to PingPlotter errors on that host(s) (frankfurt + moscow):

https://share.pingplotter.com/RG59nxonqAV

https://share.pingplotter.com/Zx5xgU52DSk

https://share.pingplotter.com/6PP3tXTWZ9u

Please note, its at least some of the failures that happens almost every day couple of times per day, which drasticly degrades the Internet experience for me.

And the last one for the last 48 hours (for high level overview):

https://share.pingplotter.com/cGS7a8dL5rw

Where you can see - almost all of the troubles that happens on the way to the host - it is either coming from:

a) Vodafone (starting from the second hop) - and that problem we already discussing in other thread - long running discussion on upstream/downstream failures inside of Vodafone network.

b) The traffic exchange hosts handled by Golden Telecom (*.gldn.net)

Could you please change the route to the host 109.105.133.32 in a way that it would not go through the Golden Telecom? Such high level hop should not be that unreliable.

Thanks!

Whatever change was made - it made it worser.

Now it disconnects everyday few times a day.

You can check it here: https://share.pingplotter.com/VHPPCRG14rG - 4 times in 48 hours - complete shutdown of the Internet. And disconnects happening every few hours... How you even call it a "Service"....

Please remove whatever config change that was made for IPv4 and I was not asking for. It makes it worser.

The expert technicians seem not to have an expertise in fixing the problem....

Pings seem to calm down... but the disconnects increased drastically.

Asked about random disconnects game provider.

Please figure not random one for now. Why the Internet completely shuts down and modem restarts few times a day (as you can see - red lines across the while route for short period of time).

Hey @Tobias

Why then it was mentioned to me something about the IPv4? Also I have received email from Vodafone that saying that something related to IPv4 was applied?

@Tobias @Martin59 @Claudia

Please turn that IPv4 out!  It is impossible to live with!

I am checking logs for last 48 hours. Internet was down every few hours:

12.08 03:22

11.08 21:23

11.08 15:15

10.08 20:15

10.08 18.22

10.08 10:16

And that is only cases when it really was dropping the connection (even I may have missed some cases). I am not counting endless times when everything was going down because of high timeouts on the route....

Here are the logs: https://share.pingplotter.com/SPW44KrxAqm

Please remove the change!!!!

P.S. please stop saying that nothing was changed and nothing was done. Here is the screen from the PDF Vodafone have sent me on 4th of August: https://prntscr.com/1n7c981

Hello ValeriiVasin,

the pingplotter looks good. No lost at all and only outside our network there is an increase.

And the signal at the cable-Router is also ok.

Jens

What do you mean by "looks good"? I just pointed out more then 6 outages when router lost connection with the Internet fully.

In my case that is drastically decreases the quality, since each connection lost like that worth me 20+ minutes of time spent to put everything like it was before.

So - it is not good! and it is not like it should be. You can not reload Internet every hour and say - but actually every hour 59 minutes Internet is okey.

Hello ValeriiVasin,

as Jens wrote, there is no packetloss on the route and the ping is still good. You already have another thread with bad connection and pings. Two for the same topic lead to twice as much effort, so I will close this one here.

Claudia
