I have been experiencing massive packet loss for a long time, which severely impacts video conferencing and real-time applications.
My MTR measurement (100 packets to 8.8.8.8):
1. fritz.box (192.168.178.1) 0.0% Loss ✓2. 92.219.224.207 (Vodafone) 9.0% Loss3. 92.79.214.2 9.0% Loss4. 145.254.2.207 (Vodafone) 40.0% Loss ← Problem5. 213.133.121.197 9.0% Loss
What I have already checked:
- Router (Fritz!Box 7530 AX) restarted
- LAN cable instead of Wi-Fi: same problem
- Ping to router (192.168.178.1): 0% loss
- Various targets tested: all show loss from hop 2-4 onwards.
Conclusion: The problem clearly lies in the Vodafone network, specifically at node 145.254.2.x, which consistently shows 35-40% packet loss.
Could someone please check the line and routing to my connection?
