Transfer Cable contract to new person

Hi, I've moved away from my place and don't need the contract any longer. I've sent the required document filled and signed through the vodafone website but every time I get back an automated email saying my document is empty (It is not, I've checked multiple times).

It would be very helpful to be able to do this, otherwise the person who moved into my old flat will have to go through the trouble to pick a different internet provider and I will have to just cancel this contract as is my right.

Please let me know how to do this,

Best
Manuel

It simply doesn't matter if you don't need a contract any longer or not - in case the contract can be fullfilled at the new location, it will move with you. There is no general right to prematurely cancel an internet ontract just because you don't need it anymore at yoiur new address -- the right only exists if the contract cannot be fullfilled as agreed on your new location (e.g. speed changes -or- technology changes).

And to be fair - as person that moves in, I would refrain from taking over someone elses internet contract, because as a new customer I get much better conditions than just taking over another contract.

I've moved abroad.
I have all the right to cancel the contract, which at this point I will.
I only wanted to save my friend who is moving in the hassle of setting up a new contract
