Dear Vodafone,
For several months starting last year i have had no Internet in my apartment. This started due to a change of Modem that was provided by Vodafone. The apartment cable was not suitable. We have has engineers inspect and discuss and finally it was confirmed that Vodafone could not provide this internet service. In addition i have been charged for 2 modems. One of which i have returned and the other i will return in April as discussed with your customer care team.
I have written regarding a refund, with no response and i have called several times without any further assistance.
Please can you help me navigate how i can get a refund?

Why do you want to return a rental device in April when it's not working and you ask for a refund?
This makes no sense - either you cannot use the service and thus can also return the rental device now -or- you can use the service and want to proceed until the cancellation period is over and return the device after cancellation.

Firstly i want to request a refund for a period of time when i was charged for internet service but there was no connection to my apartment. Secondly i have been charged for the first modem which was returned to Vodafone by recorded delivery in May last year. I am currently not in Berlin until April and therefore i cannot return the 2nd Modem until this time. Despite having spoken to someone at Customer care about this i now find i have been charged. Very disappointing customer service from Vodafone throughout this whole debacle.
