Missing Multimedia Coaxial Cable Adapter

To whom this may concern,

 

My internet has not been working for the last 1+ weeks and I just realized that we do not have a multimedia coaxial cable adapter in our box. Is it possible to have one sent to me in order to get internet at my new apartment?

To do this, you have to report a move and inform that there is no MMD in the new apartment. Either a technician is commissioned to set the MMD for you free of charge (which I would always prefer) or the multimedia plug-on adapter is delivered. You will be charged € 39.99 for the move.

Thank you for the response. I have already reported a move and been charged the 40 euros however no technician came to the house for the prupose of setting up the Coaxial cable adapter.

In which federal state do you live? And don't you have a 3- or 4-hole MMD in your apartment, are there any cable sockets at all?

I live in Bavaria and we do not have a 3 or 4 hole MMD. The only one we have looks like the picture attached below.

This is a classic 2-hole can. You can then either wait here until a mod can report (currently takes about 1 week) and request your data, or you can use the social media support on Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp. You can also use the hotline, but it is always a gamble there whether someone speaks English. There you simply report "Self-installation failed" because there is no MMD and you need a plug-on adapter or a technician. Because even with the plug-on adapter it doesn't have to work if the return channel is not available or is blocked. Then a technician on site is essential.

We actually already had a technician come in but he never entered the apartment. He simply just went in the basement to look.

Hello,

it has been over 9 days since I have no internet. I have phoned Vodafone 10+ times but they continue to not resolve the issue as they say they are going to follow up on things while nothing happens. I have had a technician come to my new apartment but never actually entered the flat as well as another technician supposedly fix an issue with the internet on the street. Despite these "solutions" the internet has not worked once. Most recently, we got off the phone with a customer representative who stated that they will not send us an adapter or send in a technician because the internet not working is OUR fault and we should be resolving this ourselves. The level of customer service has been utterly abysmal and would like to either explore the following options: (1) Finally Resolve the issues in the next day or (2) terminate the contract for breach of contract and receive full refund.

 

Please ERFD help with this situation as it is beyond frustrating.
