Hello!
I am sorry I am asking in English, my German is not so good.
So I am living in a flat in Berlin and I want to do home office from this flat (working from home).
For this, my laptop needs to connect to a work VPN.
But, the ISP (vodafone) is blocking the IP and server addresses which are needed to connect to the VPN.
The technical support at work gave me a list of IP addresses (all IPs starting with xxx.xx and all server addresses starting with xxx.xxx).
They tell me I have to ask my ISP to whitelist these IP and server addresses in order to be able to connect to the VPN.
How can I do this?

I'm afraid this isn't due to the blacklisting of the IP addresses, it's due to the DS-lite connector only connecting over IPv6. All IPv4 connections run through the DS-lite tunnel to the AFTR. This means that port forwarding, as is often required, is not possible.
But you can put your cable router (if it's not a Fritzbox/Homebox) in bridge mode and connect your own router behind it. Then you are in the VFD/ex-KDG area with IPv4 only and the VPN should work.
Or you can buy your own Fritzbox Cable (make sure it's not a branded Vodafone model!) and use it. Then you can set yourself whether you want to use IPv4 only, dual stack or DS lite.

Hi Torsten!
Thank you very much for your answer!
I believe you are right, as for the VPN I need a IPv4 connection.
Regarding this: "But you can put your cable router (if it's not a Fritzbox/Homebox) in bridge mode and connect your own router behind it. Then you are in the VFD/ex-KDG area with IPv4 only and the VPN should work."
If possible, could you briefly explain or link me instructions on how to do this? I have a KabelBox router with a cable connection, if that is relevant.

Since I am a VFW customer, I cannot explain this to you in detail. But you can activate the bridge mode for your Vodafone station (or an older Vodafone cable router) in MeinKabel and then connect your own router to LAN1. In order for this to be able to establish a connection via DHCP, you must then restart both devices once.
If the home spot is active for you, you have to deactivate it first. This takes 7 days, which is the notice period for this option. After that, you can no longer connect to the Vodafone Homespots while you're out and about.
