Hello team,
I am moving out of Germany and request you to terminate the contract kindly.
My last day at Germany is on January 17 2022 and I want you to help me with the connection closing process.
Cancellation request is for both DSL internet and mobile phone. Also to which address should I return my DSL router to?
Edit: @Hec moved from DSL- to Cable-Board.

You need to send a relocation request stating your new address...
Your landline contract will then be closed with a one month notice period.
Anyhow as your mobile contract can be used abroad for the contractually agreed prices (that include roaming fees), you won't be able to prematurely close your mobile contract - you can only cancel that contract at the end of the contractual term.

Hi @reneromann I made a mistake, it's a Unitymedia internet and not DSL. Are you referring to a relocation request regarding de-registration of my current residence confirmation? If it's that I can't do it until a week before my departure on the 17/01/2022.
Also for my mobile internet I want to permanently close the contract as using this abroad would be more expensive to me.
can I private message you with my account details so the cancellation requests can be initiated please?

You can already report your move now, then the period of 1 month will start to run. After receiving the de-registration certificate, you then hand it in, so that your contract will then be extraordinarily terminated.
As a VFW / ex-UM customer, you can also report the whole thing by email.
