i have changed my plan recently to Red Internet & Phone 250 Cable and with the new contract i received new router which is Vodafone- CGA4233DE. but i have very terrible problem that my connection which is not stable now (with the new contract)  and i am losing connection many times in a day. more than 50 times (which i could count). i have tried all possiblities by restarting my modem multiple times and all but the issue is not solving yet.
 
based on my own analysis i noticed that this is mainly hjappening bebecause packet loss. i have attached screen shot based on my ping test as attachement.
 
This is really making me to loss my work and i really don't know why it's happening with this new plan/router. Basically, this becomes totally useless now.
 
can you please help me to solve this at the very earliest? i have added a screen shot from ping status to present the package loss count to make you understand the situvation how worse it is.

Hello sreejithnair,

as far as I can see, a new order has been opened again and a new date has been set for 16.02.2021. Then the signal values in the house are to be brought back into order.

The Technician Team came today and they did "something" at my apartment and basement (which i dont know technically but replacing some device or such) and they said all looks good now after spending 45-50 minutes to fix all.

 

But from my side still the speed is very slow and i am not getting my speed as per the plan which ii agreed with vodafone which s 250 mbs for downlaod and 25 MBPs for upload. Please find the following screen shot which i took after technician left today. This screen shot is from vodafone app for speed test. ping cmd from windows laptop

 

my down load speed is just in 20-30 mbs and upload is crazy 1 MB. why it is so slow still and what is next to get my speed back.

And also i monitered my ping and it doenst have any difference much. So what fix which you guys made on this regard ?  Please note this is almost now 2 months now my request like this. any thing soon ?

Hi sreejithnair,

 

the signal is very good at the moment. Are the tests with WiFi or Ethernet?

Hello @pRo-Marco,

Ping test was using Ethernet and Speed test from Vodafone application was from WIFI. so which means i tested both the method.

Hey,

 

what time does the packet loss occur? There are a few anomalies on the upstreams and I would like to see if there is a connection.

I have seen packet loss multiple times a day. it is not specific with any timing. so i would say it is with all the time. Also the upload stream is very bad some times. but that usually happens evening timing.
