Hi, my name is Viktor. My Customer number xxxxxxx
I've been using Vodafone Cable Internet at home. Due to some circumstances I will leave Germany soon. So, I used your "Moving service" and pointed 31 March 2020 as a date of termination. A couple of days ago, I got a documents about the termination in MeinVodafone account. But it seems like the system calculated 3 additional months to this date and the date of termination now is 29 June 2020. But I want the 31 March 2020 to be the date of termination, because I'll leave on the 1st of April and wouldn't go back, my bank account will be closed etc.. That's why I did it in the beginning of January.
Can you please help me with that? Thanks!

Hello dmitresco,
the termination date is correct. If you move to a non-served area or abroad, the Telecommunications Act applies. This provides for a period of 3 months from the date of relocation. A goodwill is not possible.

Hi Grit,
Thank you for the response!
But following this logic, I would pay for 3 additional months for the service even if I'm abroad and not using the service at all? Just to clarify, I'm not gonna go back to Germany, I'm gonna make Abmeldung in the end of March and have a confirmation document about it and close my bank account anyway.
I specially initiated a termination process in the beginning of January to have the contract terminated exactly in time of 31 March.

Hi dmitresco,
yes that's right. The contract runs for another 3 months and must be paid. The period begins with the moving day. Even if you tell us earlier it can't be changed. This is incidentally regulated by law in §46 of the Telecommunications Act.
