Not terminating my contract from 3 months.

Hi Sir/Madam,

 

I have raised the request to terminate my internet contract from past 3 months and still it is not terminated.

I moved out of my flat from March 31st 2020.  Currently i am not present in that address, so i have asked to close my internet but nobody is helping me on this.

 

Can somebody please help me on this. My customer is is ***.

Hi Thomas,

 

But the contract what i signed intially was only for 2 years.  And it was suppose to end in 2020.  That is the reason i had told in feburary to termintate it and not to extend the contract.

 

So if it was for 2 years and i have notified in time to terminate the contract.  So how come it can become fixed contract and still it is being continued is what i dont understand?

Hallo Saravana_Raja,

 

yes the duration is 24 months. The contract is automatically renewed for another 12 months if not cancelled in due time. The contract was extended in March and the cancellation was unfortunately too late in February. The contract can only be cancelled with a notice period of 12 weeks.

So if this is the case then i am suppose to pay the money even though i dont use the service ?

 

12 weeks in advance i didn't know this.  I taught if i inform before my contract renewal it is fair enough i taught.

I dint read such constraints as all documents are in German it was difficult to me.

 

So cant you now help me to terminate the contract with some due charges if this is possible ?  If yes how much and what is the procedure ?

that's not possible. You can use the tariff at the new address and it will end on the date already confirmed.

Thanks!!  It is really very very bad customer friendly service i would say with so much strict about cancelling and terminating the contracts.   Even though it was told before contract ends.

 

There should be some flexible way given to customer to end the service(Example how Vattenfall electircity and Gas service does it) .  Anyways i wil pay the money until the end of contract.  But if possible do me a favour please try to take the termination request for my existing contract now only and make a fixed end date now.  Dont want it to be continued after 2021.

 

Sure i dont want again to get back to such a bad service internet provider.   Thanks a lot Thomas for you personally.

the date is fixed and as confirmed the contract ends on 21.03.2021.
