Hi, I left germany in November, I also re-registed, however Vodafone in Berlin said I wasnt able to cancel my contract for Kabel. I thought it was going to be cancelled in March, however I have checked and it is still not cancelled. What information do you need from me to see if I can cancel it now.

Hello Gkorchard,
I took over the data as you sent it to me. Your contract is now terminated with 3 months' notice under the Telecommunications Act. You will also find the cancellation confirmation in your customer portal in the documents.

Hi, I went into the store in Berlin and showed them my de-registration form and they said i still wasnt able to cancel it, so therefore I didnt get a written cancellation.
They didnt ask me to return the internet box so I dont have it any more as I left Germany in Novemeber.

Showing a piece of paper to someone in a shop does not legally constitute any kind of cancellation. It needs to be done in writing (as can be found in the T&Cs of your contract) and sent to the correct recipient (which a shop is not).
You will also not get a written cancellation, but you need to write that one yourself and upon reception and approval will receive a conformation of cancellation.
As for not returning the hardware, you will possibly be charged for this as well if it was a rental device.

did you resign in writing and tell them when and where you were moving? What did you do with the modem? If you want, I can take a look at your customer data. Just send me your customer number, name and address by private message and then get back to me here.

Which contract did you talk about with the employee, Internet & Phone or mobile phone? And what has been terminated as of March 31? Did you resign in writing?
You are allowed to use the modem for the entire duration of the contract. If you no longer have this one, it will be charged to you.

Thanks for getting back to me. In the UK we don't register, that is why I sent you my bank statement with my address on it, we are able to use that as our proof of address. I can also send you my driving licence that has my address on it and will be my proof of address.
