I am writing you to ask for clarifications regarding the cancellation of my Internet contract with you.

At the end of December 2018 I left Germany and prior to the departure I sent you a cancellation of my Internet contract through your office in Mall of Berlin togerther with my deregistration letter (die Abmeldung) and a few days later I sent you the modem.

So, now I am no longer using your service since I am not in Germany any more, however, this month I've found out that I am still being charged for the Internet. Why is it so? I expected the contract to be cancelled since I left Germany and just can't physically use your services.

thanks for your pm.

 

According to German law, in the event of a move, the contract is terminated prematurely with a notice period of three months. Since you moved to 28.12.2018, I have adjusted the cancellation of your contract to 28.03.2019.
