Contract cancelation

Hello to all,
I am currently living in Ingolstadt and I have signed last year contract with Vodafon for internet. Now, because of job I need to move my self to Berlin, where my new landlord has internet included in price (I didn't ask what is provided). So because all of this I have several question.

1. Is it possible in my case to cancel contract, without need to pay to rest of months. That would be almost one year of paying for nothing? And what I need to do - please describe in details because it is very hard to find information that is on English language.

Next questions are if 1. is not possible:
2. Is it possible to switch to some other package then this one, guy that was selling me this contract (last year) said that we can replace package in any time?
3. Is it possible to freez contract (because I would really love to continue with vodafon after some period)?

4. Is it possible to switch contract with new tenant in my old appartment?

If nothing of this is not possible, can you please give me some other advice if you?

Thank you really a lot,
Best regards,

Nihad

Simple answer: The contract will move with you in case it can be fullfilled as contractually agreed upon, e.g. same speed & technology used - no matter if there is another internet connection available or not.

In case the contract CANNOT be fullfilled as agreed upon, your contract will be closed with a 3 months notice period starting at the day you announce the move to Vodafone -or- the day you move - the later one counts. You'll then have to pay for those 3 months and the contract is closed.

To points 3 and 4: Neither of those two is not possible.

Point 2 might be possible in case such downgrade right is part of your contract - no matter if you move or not.

@reneromann thank you a lot for your answer.

Can you please explain me a little bit more this sentence please:

|In Vodafone -the-the-day-you-move - the later one counts. You'll have to pay for those 3 months and the contract is closed.|

If I understood you correctly I can cancel my contract in any moment, I just need to pay for 3 months? Doesn't matter if it is left 9 months until end of contract ?

No, you cannot cancel your contract at any time with that 3 months.

Those 3 months only apply IF

A) you move

-AND-

B) the contractually agreed services cannot be granted on your new location (e.g. not same speed / technology possible)

If A) is not fullfilled, e.g. you're not moving, you are bound to your minimum contractual term.

And even IF you are moving, B) has to befulfilled in order to have the right to prematurely cancel the contract.

In case you move to an address where the contractually agreed services can be provided, the contract will move and there is NO right to prematurely cancel the contract.
