Vodafone Station restarts + low Internet speed

Hi,

I have two issues:

• The first one is the router, Vodafone Station (firmware AR01.02.037.08_121719_711.PC20.10), which reboots at random hours, a few times a day. Sometimes it works fine for a few hours, sometimes it can restart even 4 times in one hour. This situation is unacceptable for me because I'm getting kicked out during important meetings and live streams. I even tried to disconnect all the devices and kept just one (PC) connected by cable but this didn't fix the problem.
• The second issue is Internet speed. I have "Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable" but unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed. Download speed is more or less fine, but not consistent - there are days with really low speeds and when I'm downloading some large files (I'm working with big data) I can't do anything else until the download is finished. For example, when I'm downloading with 20MB/s (160 Mbps) with 5 connections to the server the link seems saturated and I can't even load Google page. I don't know what can be the reason, does this router have QoS?
  Upload however is a mess, the speed is very inconsistent and slow, especially during evenings (recently it getting a bit better). I'm doing live streams and high and consistent upload speed is a must for me, this was one of the reasons for which I chose the highest data plan. Just to mention, I tried various cables (currently using Cat-8 ) and ports in the router. I did some more tests just a moment ago.  Those are speeds while downloading from my dedicated servers - Leaseweb Amsterdam (the left one) and OVH Frankfurt (the right one), both have 10Gbit uplinks. During the download I'm not able to browse the Internet at all, even if it's happening on another device.  Notice the peak to 29MB/s on the right screenshot - during this time I was able to browse for like 1 minute. When I limit download speed to 5MB/s the issue is gone, doesn't matter how many connections I have open.

I also did speed tests just after, here are the results:

I also tried a few different ones and got similar results to speedtest.net. Why Vodafone is showing always so good speed for downloads? Is it because the test files are located within the same network? It's not even close to real-world results.

Hello Mariuszeq,

no aborts are visible in the log of the modem. How exactly do you notice these? Is the download also so slow if several files are downloaded at the same time?
