Hi I am Bhabesh, 

Thank you for giving new connection on my new address. I already moved to new location and enjoying vodafone dsl service. 

I got a letter for the returning of old device, but didn't receive any Rückschein (ruturn slip) with new device which is required along with the shipping box as per the letter sent by you. However, as per our telephonic discussion, you agreed that the techinician will come and collect the old one from my new address but he refuse.  

I have 2 question.

1. Can i return you the old device without Rückschein (ruturn slip)?

2. Since i continued the internet service from you and also agreed during our new contract discussion, why my old contract will still continued till 30.10.2019. It was very clear during the discussion as once i activate the new contract, automatically old contract will be terminated and i dont need to pay for both. Since i am not using the old device, please cancel the old contract. i am in process of returing your old device. There may be a confusion but please clarify this.

I changed the cancellation date to 04.08.2019. A new confirmation is on the way to you.

 

Since you are now a DSL customer, you have to ask the question about the move in the corresponding board here in the community. Your colleagues will then be able to answer your question about the procedure.

 

Do you have any further questions about the cable contract?

A new contract does NOT automatically cancel the old one nor does the old one end at the day the new one is activated. The only way would've been to upgrade your old contract... I'm pretty sure you're stucked with 2 contracts right now - and you will have to pay for both contracts, even if you only use one.

 

Next thing: You have to return the rental device on your own expense - so there is no "Rückschein".

And any technician will also NOT collect a device - you have to return it by your own.

With the hardware you got a return note. if you don't have it anymore, you have to pay the costs yourself.

To your second question: In principle, the existing contract also moves to the new address. For a closer look send me the following informations in a private message:

full name

date of birth

previous and new eaddress
previous and new customer number 

 

Please reply here when you have sent the private message.

Thanks for clarity but while discussion with customer care (who creates the new contract), they could have told me the same. i am disappointed. I could have handle the situation differently. Anyway, is there any other way to avoid payment for unused system?

In any case, can i return the device before 30.10.2019 _ Please confirm. if no, by what date i have to return the old system.

My plan is to change my apartment in next 3-4 month (currently staying in company appartment) within the same city, please guide me how to handle this situation to avoid same problem. I am looking for an appartment now, as soon as found the appartment, i will confirm the new address.
