Hello,
I took over an apartment with an old Vodafone router which I paid for a few months. Later, I made a new contract and was told the old contract will be cancelled as it is for the same apartment as the new contract. The old contract is not in my name. Now, vodafone keeps billing me for two contracts for the same apartment. How do I get a refund for these months? Also, make sure the contract is cancelled.

If there were two contracts with two differents names there is one billing for each contract. Have you got a written paper that one contract was cancelled? In general every contract is billed, regardless of the apartment.

If you haven't sent a written cancellation notice for the old contract, then the old contract will have automatically extended (no matter if you sign for another one). Thus there will also be no refund...
