SIM Card is activated but does not work

Hi. A German friend helped to purchase a Callya sim for and explained to the vendor that I am from overseas and to help activate it. The vendor took the information and my friend said it will take 3-48 hours.
 

I received a mail saying I need to do video verification, which I did and after doing so, received an email saying activation is rejected. I tried to activate my CallYa SIM Card again today using the www.md.com/support  link , and it says SIM was already activated. I then tried to use it on my phone, and I'm unable to call / text / etc. Any help is appreciated.
