Vodafone cable internet - No connection past 36 hours

Hi All

 

We are having problems with our internet connection for 2 days now, there is mostly no connection at all and at times there is a really slow connection that works for 2-3 minutes. With high dependence on my work from home due to the pandemic, this situation is turning into a big issue now. I have tried contacting support via phone but unfortunately, my German is not yet well enough and the operators do not speak English. I somehow with my basic german skill conveyed my customer number, DOB, etc to the operator but after that I didn't understand anything the operator said to me, I didn't get a ticket number even. 

 

The error message we have on the network self troubleshooter is:

"There is a so-called return path disruption at your connection, which can restrict your Internet and telephone connection.  If necessary, please let our technician check your connection.  We will fix the problem as soon as possible.  Thanks very much.  There is currently no time to rectify the fault."

 

On Saturday (12th), the error message stated that the problem would be solved by March 13, 11:15am  Now timing looks infinite. I am lost as to what else I can do as Vodafone telephone IVR is also fully in German and am utterly disappointed at the level of service. How can I get information about when the problem will be solved?

I am sorry that the connection is not working.

In which state do you live? Which router do you have from us?

I live in Nuremberg, Bavaria

Router: Vodafone station TG3442DE

I logged a complaint on Sunday but the operator did not give me a proper solution also I did not get a ticket number. Today afternoon at 1pm I called again and at least got a ticket logged, but I have no clarity on when will it get resolved, I am not able to work as I need to be in-home office and now its been 72 hours the Auftrag I got today is: ***

Hey @Rajiv,

I can gladly take a look at the connection. Can you send me your customer data (customer number, name, address and date of birth of the contract holder) via private message?

Then please let me know in the post when you have sent me the data.
