The dreaded blinking red light

Hi, as with dozens of posts in this community, I received my Vodafone station 3 days ago and after installing it, the red light won't stop blinking. 

 

I already rebooted the router, checked the cable etc. as per the guide on the support page but the issue persists. I called the hot line as well but couldn't get pass the machine (I don't have a German mobile number yet so that might be the issue). I read that the only way to get English support is through here. Can Vodefone support team please get back to me? 🥺

Thanks to the vodafone support team who jumped into this post and the technician who arrived today to fix the cable, my wifi is now working! The culprit turns out to be this piece of gear:

Thank you. I have now instructed the technician and he will contact you to arrange an appointment. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly when that will be.

I keep my fingers crossed that it is as soon as possible.
