Last month I moved my DSL contract from Telekom to Vodafone and since then I have had sporadic internet problems every day. The green lights (4 of them) on the easybox 805 remain permanently green if a problem occurs. Every device in the house simply has no internet for a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes and so on. When it happens I can't even connect to the local WiFi IP 192.168.2.1. So my first suspect is the wireless router. Can you please help? I am very sad to be leaving Telekom with immediate effect.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. Understand that you are disappointed because of this. 😞
Have you ever completely reset the router to factory settings?

Although this is a new box that just came last month with the new contract but yes I have also done the factory reset and it does not help either. To test further I borrowed one Vodafone 905 router from my friend to see if that works better (if it works better, then its surely my 805 easy box issue). I have not get time yet to test it but one more question, do I need a seperate Modem-Installationscode(MIC) for borrowed 905 device which i want to test or it will just work wihtout/or with my existing MIC that came with my contract?

you need your MIC if you want to test the EasyBox.

Hi Team,
I have tested the 905 easybox over this weekend (3 days) and it performance much better. We didnt encounter internet disconnection and no frequent random internet bloackage. So at this point and limited weekend testing it seems easybox 804 is the culprit. Problem with 905 is that its limited to 100Mbps internet speed and I have RED internet & phone250 contract. Would it be possible to arrange fritzbox if that works better as I dont want to again test same 804 box (i have limited confidence on this box right now) ?

i've never heard of an easybox 905 - are you using the easybox 805?
The 805 is working with vdsl landlines > 100 mbit/s
Could you post a picture of the "905" router?

Oh thats the typo from the beggining. I was actually talking about Easybox 904 xdsl (the white box with touch screen).
To summarize:
- Easybox 805 that came with my contract is not working properly (details of the issue in earlier thread above)
- Got one white xdsl Easybox 904 from friend and tested over the weekend and we dont see the issue but this box is 100Mbps limited
- Right now I plug the 805 back and since morning we already have multiple glitches.

ah this makes sense. The easybox 904 just supports a bandwith of up to 100 mbits.
Feels like your easybox 805 is defect.
Could you please send me a private message with your dsl customernumber& Password?
Therefore please click on my name/avatar -> then the big red button on the right side.
I'll check if we can swap the most likely defect easybox 805 , or try a fritzbox.
