Hi,
I’m looking for support with my internet. My internet was disrupted since yesterday and the Power/DSL light keeps blinking. I could smell a little bit of burn smell when checking the router. But the lights are still flashing.
I tried to reset the router and also reset factory using MIC code. But both of them didn’t work. The reset factory couldn’t even complete the first step and kept having timeout ()
Can someone please help me with this?

Hi, I bought it directly from Vodafone when I signed the contract. It was almost 2 years ago.

maybe there ist something wrong with your connection
what does your Fritzbox show under: Internet >> DSL-Informationen >> DSL
if you think it is defective, search for the invoice an let it replace from AVM
the give 5 years warranty

Thanks a lot, Robert, for your suggestion. Since the lights of the router are still flashing, i’m not 100% sure if it is broken or not. But thanks for reminding our the guarantee
Unfortunately, I already tried to reset factory (Which worked for me last time) and now i’m stuck with step 1 of the installation using MIC code due to no connection (timeout error). I already wrote a ticket to Vodafone support but I don’t know how long it will take them to resolve such issue. Having a technician visit and confirm the problem would be nice.
