Hallo,

Hello,

Hope all is well. I have "CallYa" and i have always found it difficult to access anything regarding my "callya" usage on my "MyVodafone" online. This problem is especially true when I get charged for some service while roaming and I do not know anything about this charge until it gets deducted from my balance. When I do log online to see details of said charge, I cannot find any information.

Vodafone, this is terrible on your part. You are in the business of communication and information and yet you seem to have a difficult time communicating and informing your "CallYa" customers details of these charges.

At CallYa there is no detailed consumption overview, this is reserved for contract customers. All prices are given in the price list, there is nothing more. However, you can at least view your credit and data usage in the MeinVodafone app when using the mobile network (WLAN off). If there are charges for roaming, they are mentioned in the "Welcome to XY-Land" SMS, so you know which prices are incurred.

Thank you for your reply.  While I understand that perhaps Vodafone sees this feature as a long-term contract-only feature, I still believe Vodafone should be transparent about charges and show customers what they are being charged for regardless of whether it is a 30-day contract or a 2-year contract.  Call-Ya is still a contract albeit short.

Imagine you go to a restaurant and have a nice meal with a loved one and just get a bill at the end with no itemized lines to describe what you are being charged for. There is just a total amount and nothing else. You ask about this to the waiter and the waiter tells you that, in order to get an itemized bill you will have to sign a 2-year contract with them or be a regular customer.

Silly right?

Thank you again.

Hi @MSport_Jon,

A receipt for your top-ups you could get of course. The customer care agent can set up that for your customer account and you get that receipts via letter mail monthly.

The reason why you don't get a bill with an overview about your consumption for CallYa prepaid services is about the easy and small administrative workload and also the cheaper price via post paid contracts. Also a court in the past judged about that, provider don't need to make a bill for the customer (prepaid) with a full consumption overview.

If you want that service (bill, consumption overview) than you have to change into a post paid contract.

Since the solution was marked by a mod here, I will conclude here. If questions or concerns arise again, simply open a new post in the appropriate board.
