Premature termination mobilefunk due to scam

Can I prematurely cancel my contract as it is stated about the 14 days? The man in the store got me scammed as I asked for the cheapest one. And he gave me the most expensive one knowing that foreigners don't know anything about this. He also did this to my friend. Can I cancel my plan and complain about this? Will Vodafone accept that it was a mistake?

I did get translators but still it did not help. I don’t know what to do because he told me it is cancelled and it will stop after a week but Vodafone said he did not do it.

They make their money with selling contracts - they will not give up that money. By the way, even if he scammed you by making an expensive contract, you knew how much it would cost, so now saying that you can‘t afford it doesn’t sound right to me. You signed the contract, and there was the monthly cost stated.

He told me it is the only thing he have and it only cost 84 euro and it will get cheaper every month but i found out that it will not and the first bill will be very expensive and now i am stuck with it. He also did it to my friend. He is not explaining to us clearly what should be expected and such because i ask him that before signing also. I actually insisted on getting the cheaper sim card but he said he don’t want to give it to me and gave me the most expensive one instead. I also asked for internet or gigacube he said he will give it to me but he also didn’t!

There is only one thing that counts: what is WRITTEN in the contract you signed. The terms of service clearly state that additional verbal promises are not valid at all.

I was not very aware because i am very new in Germany and he told me such things. Now I don’t know what to do about this. I just want to cancel my contract 😭

I‘m afraid you are stuck with it for 24 months.

Can you still cancel? Is there no loophole in the contract?

There is no loophole. You could try to contact support via WhatsApp (available in English, too) and hope for a goodwill solution, but I wouldn't count on it.

As the previous speakers have correctly said, there is unfortunately no legal option to revoke the contract or terminate it before the 24 months have expired. You could contact the service on WhatsApp and share your arguments in the hope that they will find a favorable solution for you (e.g. a switch to another tariff or a cancellation). Another option is to find someone who would like to take over your contract..
