I will be moving out of Germany in a few days and if possible I'd like to terminate my internet contract. I've contacted with Vodafone using this form, however, I've not heard back anything in more than a week. Yesterday, I realized that there is dedicated form for reporting a move and I also filled that but I'm still waiting to hear back. As I will be leaving very soon, would it be possible for you to inform me as to what I'd need to do to cancel my contract (at least, for the time being, what I'm supposed to do with the hardware)?
Thank you.

Hi arosbart,
what exactly is your contract with us (cable or DSL)? Which German state do you come from?
Best regards
Lars

Send your cancellation for moving abroad by email. However, according to German law, you have a notice period of 3 months to the end of the month from the date of the move, as long as you still have to pay for the contract.
And please submit a copy or a PDF document or a photo of the de-registration certificate immediately after receipt so that the cancellation is carried out on the correct date.
You can return your end devices free of charge by DHL beforehand, just keep the receipt of posting, if necessary as a digital copy. You can create and print out the package label here free of charge.
