I’d like to change my tariff from Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable to Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable (at 39,99 per month). It is not possible to do this online. The only option available online is to change to Red Business Internet & Phone 1000 Cable, which is much more expensive and comes with a Fritzbbox, which I already have.
Ich möchte meinen Tarif von Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable auf Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable (für 39,99 pro Monat) wechseln. Es ist nicht möglich, dies online zu tun. Die einzige online verfügbare Option ist der Wechsel zu Red Business Internet & Phone 1000 Cable, der viel teurer ist und eine Fritzbox enthält, die ich bereits habe.

Since you pay a higher price (€ 44.99) for the Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable, you can only switch to the Cable Max 1000 at the end of the 24-month minimum contract period.
If the 24 months have already expired - and only then - can a mod initiate the tariff change for you. You will then be charged a one-time fee of € 9.99.
The Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable can only be booked again after the Cable Max campaign has ended and costs € 49.99.

I am confused that the price you quote of 49,99 is higher than the price advertised to new customers on the website of 39,99. See attached image. Why would you charge existing loyal customers a higher price than new customers? That doesn't seem fair. The reason I am asking is because my friend in Berlin was offered the price of 39,99 when trying to change to the same tariff via telephone. If you cannot offer me the same terms, I would like to cancel my contract with Vodafone.

You are in a u2u-community, I'm a customer like you. Please be patient until a mod can ask you for your data.
But the Red Internet&Phone 1000 Cable is not the Cable Max 1000, these are two tariffs with different prices, only the Cable Max 1000 is availible for 39,99 €.

Yes, I know you're another user, and thanks for the info.
Probably the CableMax 1000 is the better tariff for me then, since I don't require the phone services. Is that the only difference, do you know?

you can change to CableMax for 39,99 Euro per month whenever you want. There's only a one time fee of 9,99 Euro for this change.
If you are okay with that, we can make the change for you.
