Hi,
I am Unitymedia cable Internet customer, now taken over by Vodafone. I plan to move to another location and upgrade to higher speed. I have called Vodafone customer service (with a help of a German speaking friend) and have received an offer options via e-Mail. Unfortunately there is no further followup from Vodafone side and no response to some clarifying questions.
I have called the customer service one more time (again with a help from German speaking friend) Another Vodafone person has provided different, a bit contradicting options,. He sent me e-mail with Vertragszusammenfassung with price different than we have just agreed. When pointing to the price difference, he said that I had do receive another email containing more details and a client discount which should result in agreed price. Contrary to what he said 5 minutes earlier, the discount is going to be applied for 24 months, although previously he stated that offered price is permanent. Unfortunately there is no further followup, no emails from Vodafone. I also do not see also anything in Meinvodafone portal.
Can somebody from Vodafone suggest how to proceed?
I still have time to timely cancel my contract alltogether. Although I would like to avoid that route, I am going to consider it if the communication continues in the same awkward way.
