Hi, my landlord (Vonovia) is telling me that I cannot no longer use Vodafone as an internet provider because they are changing the cable provider for the building to Telekom. How is this possible? Isn't this country allowing freedom of choice to encourage competition?photo1633551226.jpeg

Is there a way I can keep Vodafone?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, it is possible for a landlord to determine which cable provider supplies the house. If your landlord has terminated the supply contract with Vodafone Germany or Vodafone West and has chosen Telekom as the new supplier, Vodafone can no longer provide you with a cable Internet connection. The termination will then come in due course. Possibly. it is possible to switch to Vodafone DSL, unfortunately I cannot tell you exactly.
In any case, there can only ever be one cable provider in the house.

Do you have any further questions or can we conclude here?
