Contract Cancellation – Leaving Germany

Hey,

I will be leaving Germany in December and after looking through all the materials tied to the contract cancellation, I have more questions than answers.

Since the 3 months cancellation starts from the date of me moving out, I will have to pay for 3 months of using the internet, while not even being in the country anymore. Do I need to keep my bank account open for this, or can I simply pay all 3 months as I will be leaving the country?
When am I supposed to send the router back? All the information points to the direction that I have to do it after I receive the contract cancellation, which doesn't really help, because I will be abroad already and with no way of sending the router back.
Some clarification on the whole process would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

Hey,

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough – when I send an email to that specific address, my email bounces back, telling me that the email address isn't active anymore.
Is there a different email address that can be used?

It's strange. In any case, the email address is still active, but there is always maintenance work on the weekends because the systems (Unitymedia and Vodafone) are being merged further.
If you can send a fax, do that to 0221/46619109.
