Hi all,
I signed in to my router and looked for the port forwarding option to activate a device, but it does not exist, even in expert mode under the Internet option (where I thought it should be) it does not exist.
The router is an Arris TG3442DE. I had this option earlier this year and used it, but now it has disappeared.
Is there a specific firmware version with which I can activate this option on my router? From what I understand Vodafone started removing IPv4 addresses from private customers as they don't need them. I need one because I need to set up a VPN with DNS for work privacy and security purposes.
Alternatively, must I purchase a different router + modem and use this instead? They're expensive...
