I want to cancel my contract for Red Internet und Phone 100 Kabel. I received my router last Saturday and until now now one answered my concern about NO INTERNET CONNECTION. I tried calling several times in the customer number/hotline but only got rejected when I start speaking English. Posted also concern in this forum but no one answers. I would like to CANCEL my contract.

I need internet soon but this is taking too long therefore I am finding another solution for my internet.

I would appreciate if a moderator could take my case and help me to get rid of this contract.

Sorry, but you cannot cancel your contract this easy - especially because you'll need to have a technician to install your internet.

 

And please be aware that this is NO Live-Chat! So it may take some time until a member from the Vodafone team might help you.

Actually, I only received the router. No techinician came in to install it because the router is expected to be plugged and play. But lo, no internet connection! I called for customer service for help and also to request a technician to fix the issue but I was only hanged-up on the phone. No one cares to serve an english-speaking customer. This really frustrates me for days that's why I concluded to better cancel contract. But if you can send a technician to fix the issue, I would be very glad about it.

Sorry to tell you, but I can neither confirm sending a technician nor can I help you to make an appointment at all - I'm only a "normal" customer like you... You got an answer from one of the community team members in another thread - so he should be able to help you getting an appointment with a technician.

 

But be also be aware that this usually takes some time (as the technicians have to install and repair multiple connections per day) - so there might be some delay in finding an appointment that meets both your requirements and the timetable of the technicians.

And I doubt that it will be next Monday - it's quite too late today and the technicians usually don't work on weekends...

 

And about the customer services capabilities to speak English: I'm a bit sorry to tell you but you cannot expect everyone at the hotline to speak English. There might be some members at the hotline that will talk English, but usually they don't - and that's their good right, as we're here in Germany and contractual language is German. But you would have the same problems in France if not speaking French...

 

By the way: Opening multiple threads for the same issue does not make it better at all.
