Dear everybody,

I have used a Hotspot on Meuschelstr.12 Nürnberg for a long time, but it stopped working a week ago. I can connect to the hotspot but it says "There is no internet connection". That happens only on the top floors. If I go down to the ground floor, the other hotspot works just fine... Could you please solve the issue?

Hello aireluv,

as the Hotspots work via WiFi there may be impairments that might increase with further distance. Unfortunately we can't do anything to improve this.

Dear Claudia, I think you didn't understand me. There are 11 hotspots in my house, and some of them are on my floor. It worked just fine for 1,5 years. It shows full capacity and I can connect to it. The only problem that the hotspot has no internet connection this week for some reason. Could you please fix it?

Liebe Claudia, ich glaube du hast mich nicht verstanden. In meinem Haus gibt es 11 Hotspots, einige davon auf meiner Etage. Das hat 1,5 Jahre gut funktioniert. Es zeigt volle Kapazität und ich kann mich damit verbinden. Einziges Problem, dass der Hotspot diese Woche aus irgendeinem Grund keine Internetverbindung hat. Könnten Sie es bitte reparieren?

Hello airairr,

I checked the Hotspot IDs, for some the Router is offline, others have had current Hotspot connections that lasted several minutes. If you can't use the one specific Hotspot it's possible the five available connections are already in use. As other Hotspots work there is no general problem.

if you have 11 hotspots in your house, can you connect to another one?

Or is it just for one?

It may also be that the number of users is full and there is no more free space for you.

Dear Jens, thank you for your support. Other ones are too far from my apartment and I can't connect to them. I have used this one hotspot for 1,5 years with no problems... I think it can't be too many people because this hotspot is quite high and you can't access it from the street. 

This morning it started to work again. Maybe the neighbour who holds it was in urlaub and turned it off... it's only a theory, I don't know for sure...

The theory may of course be correct, or the router may have been changed by the owner. Unfortunately, this is all possible and we have no influence on it.

But I'm very pleased that it's working again.
