surrendering Vodafone Broadband Connection due to moved to India

Dear,

I am the customer of Vodafone and have been in contract with Vodafone sinceJan 2018 and my customer
number is ***.
Due to cancel of work contract by my company I have to leave Germany. Henceforth I would to like to
surrender my Vodafone Broadband connection.
Also I will vacate from my current residence on 7th of Dec 2018 and move to India. I would like to terminate
the contract with Vodafone.

Please help regarding my request and do the needful.

There are quite a large number of threads dealing with this situation.

In short:

You'll have to send a written cancellation either by letter or by using the contact form in German language to Vodafone stating that you'll move to India (or in your case that you already left to India). And you need to provide official proof of movement (in your case, the deregistration documents - "Abmeldebescheinigung" - from the German officials that you should've obtained before movement).

In that case, your contract is ended with a 3 months period beginning with the day of movement or Vodafone receiving the cancellation, the later one of the two counts. As you already moved, it'll be the day that Vodafone receives the cancellation - and in so far it'll be at least 3 more months that you'll have to pay for the service.

Please keep also in mind to send back any rental device in time.

Hi jashwink,

we have adjusted the termination of the contract. It ends with a period of 3 months beginning with the day of the first information of the move on 17.12.2018. You will also get a confirmation.
