Returned the router but still being charged- Need refund

Hi,

I have already requested to cancel the contract (wrote a letter) and returned the router. I am still receiving bills and money is being debited from my bank account. I have sent the router via courier on 26.07.2019. I have left the country on 28.07.2019. Could you please look into this and refund my bills.

Very simple - if you left Germany on 28.07.2019, you have to pay for 3 additional months in accordance to the telecommunications law - so until 27.10.2019.

So there won't be any refund as you are required by law to pay these additional 3 months from the moment you move to an address where the contractual agreed services cannot be provided (no matter if in Germany or abroad) or the moment you provide the cancellation - the later one counts.

I'll be glad to help you. When and how did you inform us about your move? What date is in your cancellation confirmation? Did you give us your new address with the cancellation?

reneromann has already written you that the connection will be terminated with a notice period of 3 months according to the Telecommunications Act. Until this date you will be charged for the connection.

Hi,

We have been enrolled in charlottenburg vodafone store and have been informed that we are leaving the country. We have informed to customer support in May 2019 but no cancellation was made by them.

We have sent the letter & deregisteration certifcate to below address on 26th July:

We have the router to address 26th July:

Please confirm with the above offices for the same. I request to refund the amount debited for 3 months from August-October 2019.

Again - the 3 months start the earliest the day that you move - even if you inform the ISP months in advance!

So even if your relocation request would've been entered in May, it would not change anything if you relocated in July!

if you moved in July and the calculation is done by October, it is correct. The period is 3 months and begins with the day of the move.
