Hi

Im sorry that this Email is in English, my German isnt good enough to get my point accross.

I was directed here from the Kundenservice, after i emailed them the same question. If i have selected the wrong 'Ort' can you please direct me in the direction i should put this question.

I left Germany on the 26/06/2019, to move back to the UK. I sent 2 two letters regarding my Kundigungs for My home internet and my mobile phone contract. These letters were written by a worker from the Vodafone shop in Bremen, who i told i was leaving Germany. She told me to sign the letters and send them with a copy of my Abmeldung, which i did.

However since then, i am still getting bills from Vodafone, because i dont live in Germany anymore there is no money in my German Bank account. Why am i still getting charged when i sent you my kundigung? a kundigung written by a Vodaphone member of staff... Im sure i read and was told that when you move abroad your contract will be terminated.

Can you please inform me of what is going on with both my Internet and Mobilephone contracts?

I look forward to hearing back from you, and i am happy to help with anything. if you need a copy of my abmeldung or anything, i am happy to send this.

Regards
Timothy Hulme

Hello @TimothyJHulme ,

if you move abroad and send your "Abmeldung" your home contract will be charged for the next three month after moving. Then your contract is closed. So if your cancelled before you moved you will be charged till end of September 2019. This is a decision by law and counts for all people who moves to a place, where Vodafone can not deliver.

Your mobile contract can not be terminated earlyer, because you can use roaming in UK. This contract ends to the normal termination date.

Did you get any answer from Vodafone? Is there somebody who cares for your letters? I'm sure that Vodafone wrote a letter with the dates of termination.

I hope I could help you. Kind regard, Ines
