My customer number is xxx. I have already got the letter from you to show that I have cancelled my contract. But why I still pay for the internet fees for October and Novermber. Thanks.

Let me guess: You cancelled the contract prematurely (as opposed in time and at the end of the initial 24 months period). Correct?
If so: Under German telecommunications laws and regulations you as the (ex-) customer have the obligation to pay the monthly fee for the three months following the premature cancellation.
This regulation was installed as initially the service provider had the right to charge xou the full amount until the end of the regular contract period, which penalized the customer and was hence considered too heavy a burden by the court.
However, to make up for the payments you would have been obliged to make under regular conditions of fulfilling the contract on your side, this three months rule was installed instead to also not put the full burden on the service provider.

Hi Stephan,
I send the device back in 04/09, and no one gave me any feedbacks. Afterwards, I send an email to you to confirm whether I have cancelled it successfully. Then I get a confirmation letter in the mid of October ( I can not remember the date exactly ). However, I still pay for the Internet fees in Novermber.

Thanks for your info. I never know this before. However, my question might be another story.
I was the user of Check24 from 10/2014 to 10/2016. After two years, I became the user of Vodafone automatically. I do not know that I still have another at least two years contract with Vodafone. Even like what you told me, I still do not need to pay the internet fees in Novermber, since it is already over two years.

It is within your very own responsibility to gather the required information. Besides, the contract most probably was not extended for another two years if you did not alter anything (i.e. changed the tariff or the bandwidth), but only until October 2019.

Of course you have to pay the monthly fees for the 12 months extension period. After all you read and understood the T&Cs upon signing the original contract and were aware that the contract will extend for another 12 months if not cancelled in time (i.e. three months ahead of the termination date at the latest).
Although you still haven't answered my question regarding the premature cancellation: If it was premature and if it was approved in October 2018, you still have to pay the fees for the next three months as sort of a compensation for the early termination, as stated in German Telecoms Laws and Regulations.
