I have moved and I need to cancel my Vodafone TV and Internet contract. Please help.

If you have moved within Germany you can cancel only if your new address is not supplied by Vodafone anymore.

I am still living in Germany, but my new apartment doesnt have Vodafone. How do I cancel and return the equipment?

Very good to finally get some help in English. But I still need to know how to cancel and return the equipment. I am not leaving Germany, but my new apartment doesnt have Vodafone and the TV+internet is included in the rent by the landlord.

Just report a move - Vodafone will check if the contractually agreed services can be provided at the new address or not.

 

Only in case they cannot provided as agreed, you are granted a premature right to cancel the contract with a 3 months notice period starting the earliest from the day of your move (but not earlier than the day you report the move).

 

Anyhow it does NOT matter if there are already other lines / providers included in the rent of your new appartment - it only matters if Vodafone is able to provide the contractually agreed services. Meaning that you would have to pay for both, the fees included in your rent AND the Vodafone contract in case that Vodafone is able to provide you the contractually agreed services.

Thank you. I have done the umzug-registration to my new address, but I do not wish to remain a customer with Vodafone due to this extremely difficult customer service. How do I cancel my contract? I understand there might be a fee to pay.

Hello Kjella,

if your new address is provided by us, your contract moves with it. in this case you can cancel your contract at the end of the contract period at the earliest.

 

For a closer look send me the following informations in a private message:

 

full name

date of birth

current and new address

customer number
