Help a stupid American!

Hello,

Me and my family recently moved to Trier Germany. The architecture is lovely, the drivers are so nice, and the food is delicious. The Vodafone Internet though? Not so good 😞

I received my router yesterday. I plugged it in just as the instructions told me to, and I got the power LED light on, but the internet has been flashing red for several hours. I have tried three more connection points in my house , but nothing. I am able to connect to the router, so the router is OK. It just can't get to the internet.

I have made 16 calls to Vodafone technical support. I understand that it's not their issue that they don't know english. In Germany, people speak German. Its what it's supposed to be. I keep getting moved from one agent to another . Each call is approximately 30 minutes long. At the end, I get to someone who can speak English but cannot solve my problem, and just gives me the tech support number again. on this last call they suggested I get in touch with the community.

Please, can someone send a technician to my house so I can use the internet I paid for? Maybe a list of frequent solutions would be good too. Write in German if you want, my friend Google translate is here to help.
