I have Kabel 400 with the TG3442DE modem/router. There are about 15 devices my house including TP Link bulbs and Google Homes. Internet speed is fine but every couple days and sometimes as often as a few times a day all devices are dropped from wifi and then I have to wait about 5 mins for the wifi to come back.
I tried to go into the router admin and when I change settings in there it seems to also randomly cause the wifi to go out sponteneously.
It's extremely annoying and I dont know how to fix it.
Gelöst! Gehe zu Lösung.

Hello Sunbl0cker,
how does the router then behave in time? Are the connections via LAN also affected?
Kind regards

Thank you Moni for your reply!
About 5 mins after everything is disconnected, the WiFi becomes available again and the Internet connection is restored. However it seems that every time I connect another device there's a chance it will go out again. For example I have a printer that is usually powered off. If I turn it on it will auto connect to the TG3442DE router WiFi and there's a possibility the whole WiFi network will go down again.
I have a 2nd router connected to the LAN as an Access Point and devices connected wirelessly to that router are given a LAN IP by theTG3442DE Router. Those devices all lose Internet connectivity when the TG3442DE WiFi drops so I'm assuming the reset affects the LAN as well.
I eliminated the 2nd router from the setup to see if that was the problem but I still get the WiFi reset and disconnect even with it removed.

Hello, Sunbl0cker,
can you please test directly via LAN?

Hi!
I have the same issue with same Vodafone router ( TG3442DE ).
The issue comes up at
When the connection is dropped, the red light of Internet blinks on the router and need to wait full restart.
In my case LAN connectivity will not be possible at every PCs (since the router is located in our bedroom), so I would like to know what other possible solutions are there.
Thank you,
Zoltan
