Depending on the in-house installation, a technician can be required for the first time set up.
Vodafone doesn't know if the in-house installation (that is usually not part of the Vodafone network) is already up to date or not. If it's not, then the technician will do the necessary work in order to get your router online.
There are two ways to accomodate this:
a) wait for a moderator to ask you for your customer details and book the technician appointment
b) calling the (mostly only German speaking) hotline, tell them that the self-installation failed and you need a technician.
Second one is obviously faster, but you may ask someone with enough experience in German to help you (neighbour, collegue, friend...).

under the Fritz!Box is a sticker. There is a CM-MAC and a CWMP account. These two numbers please. What you see over the IP is the LAN or WLAN-MAC.

an appointment has been made for a technician. The appointment is on 26.04. between 14-17 o'clock. This connects the modem.
