Hey there,
I'm writing with regards to my Vodafone contract.
What is the best way to terminate my contract for DSL (not telephone) with Vodafone?
It has become completely useable at home so I have unplugged my router and use my mobile hotspot at home.
In December the internet stopped working and it took almost 1.5 months for a technician to come and fix it. If I'm lucky I get 3-4mbps and even then the connection drops several times during the day which is very, very frustrating since I've not been getting what I've paid for for several months and goes against the expectations of the contract.
I have unplugged the router and do not use it since January because after being fixed it was also unusable with a new Easybox.
I have called and emailed multiple times and have gotten no replies about this.
If there is a way to cancel my contract even if I have to pay a fee for this?
I wish to keep the mobile contract since there are no problems with that but opt out of my DSL one. What are the possibilities for this?
Thanks,
Ronak

Hi Ronak,
I´m really sorry, that you made this experience 😞
According to the technician, your line was fixed in January?
Since then, you haven´t communicated any other account-restrictions.
A reason to terminate the contract early, is therefore not given.
Best regards
Kira

Hi Kira,
Thanks for your reply 🙂
The line was fixed in January after 1.5 months as you are aware. However after that I consistently got my connection dropping several times in a day and when working got less than 5mbps. I made calls to the service number and was told the line is OK, and even went physically to a Vodafone shop and was told this can only be done over the telephone.
Therefore I do not want to continue the contract - but I understand there are terms and conditions also. Therefore is it possible to end the contract with an extra fee? I'm willing to pay the cancellation penalty. If still no, then how do I cancel my contract to make sure it does not renew once the 2years are finished?
Thanks!

Hi GunnyG,
this is not the kind of dsl expirience that vodafone stands for.
Feel free to send me a private message with your customerinfo.
If the incident is realy ongoing for such a long time , i will check if i can cancle this contract early (without fees).
But i need to check it first.
